It is a curious thing how a kid from Oregon would come to sign up for LSU...and his family pay the out-of-state costs associated with it. My guess is that if he’s lucky and near graduation...no issue. If he has another year or two to go...he might ought to examine another college back over in Oregon. I’m guessing he never consulted the local folks about how this would be perceived.
He is in Cajun Catholic country. A little different culture than the left-coast.
