Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Wednesday slammed the White House's decision to invite the rapper Common to participate in a poetry event.
Palin, a potential presidential candidate and frequent critic of Obama, said that the invitation was "too easy" to decry because Common is "someone who has glorified cop killing" in his lyrics.
"The judgment is just so lacking of class and decency and all that's good about America with an invite like this," Palin said during an interview on Fox News.
Common's presence at the event drew flack from media figures who drew attention to some of his lyrics, in which he used violent language against President George W. Bush and police officers.
Palin, who had briefly criticized the invite in a tweet Tuesday, suggested the White House was practically sparking a controversy.

The "anti-Palin" Wook strikes again. The woman can't take a good picture even when she tries.
But I figure this was about the level of “poetry” a rapper was capable of - so I thought it apt and funny.
Ahhh...okay. My mistake.
Get ‘em, Mrs. P!
Case in point: I read a thread about Allen West's comments regarding "Common" at the White House. No one seemed to think he should have kept quiet or that it was a "distraction".
Not sure why some people are held to different standards than others around here... unless, it has nothing to do with the actual criticism and everything to do with promoting or tearing down specific candidates. Nah...
For the record, I think both were right for pointing out the classless outrage here.
I still say that it’s a coincidence that all her statements seem to make sense. Apparently, she has un”Common” good fortune in her opponents.
God bless the great Allen West as well!!! Bob
Gov Palin is doing what the others are not by painting Obama as “the other” this rapper is a perfect fit for her strategy. Just like trump’s BC issue was a perfect fit for that strategy. Like the NRLB.....watch which issues Gov Palin picks to highlight. It is those that make Obama appear to be “the other”/outside the tribe/unamerican.
Palin understands that at issue is the trust of the voters. If the voters can’t trust obama to make the decision that are best for the tribe of america they will not reelect him...
Sarah could come out with an “On This Day In History” calendar and use it to cite 0bummers stupid comments and decisions. There’s enough of them.
It was funny when Murphy did the skit, here, in this thread, it just seemed suspect.
Lets do it! :0)

That is a great idea!
Sorry - I thought it was amusing.
Hard to even do parody these days, what with the guy at the White House praising a cop murdering (brain on the shoe) scum and wanting to immolate a former President.
Here is Murphy doing his non federally funded “cowboy poetry” of the urban range.......

C-I-L-L my Landlord
I was going to suggest you post the original.
Good Show.
You apparently ignored her recent Facebook post where she slammed Obama's NLRB board.
This is another example of Sarah showing true leadership. While some candidates talk about a 'truce' on social issues, Sarah recognizes that no such truce is possible, as that would mean losing cultural ground to the liberals-leftists, as they are always advancing and always at war with traditional values.
That sounds like a fun FReeper project, actually.
I will now we need to keep everything we have about the criminals so we can re-post them..
I do send everything I get to my email list and everyone should do the same..
That sounds great...
