Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Wednesday slammed the White House's decision to invite the rapper Common to participate in a poetry event.
Palin, a potential presidential candidate and frequent critic of Obama, said that the invitation was "too easy" to decry because Common is "someone who has glorified cop killing" in his lyrics.
"The judgment is just so lacking of class and decency and all that's good about America with an invite like this," Palin said during an interview on Fox News.
Common's presence at the event drew flack from media figures who drew attention to some of his lyrics, in which he used violent language against President George W. Bush and police officers.
Palin, who had briefly criticized the invite in a tweet Tuesday, suggested the White House was practically sparking a controversy.

My personal belief system says:
Think Big Picture!
Always be on the offense with major events. Do not allow small mind mentality to ruin your course of action. Send attack dogs against their flanks from all positions without revealing where they came from.
Sarah is my choice. I want her to rise above the silly little baiting by Moochelle and what’s his name. Rappers in the WH? Ignore them. JMHO
And guess what? They keep your mind off the important issues. If I were Sarah, I would constantly go after all his weaknesses and not respond to where they are intentionally trying to send us week after week. These are intentional diversions.
Sarah: Think Big Picture!
I doubt Obama, his wife, or anyone over the age of 20 even listens to these anti-establishment rapper clowns. Obama’s just trying to cater to the youth vote who have no incentive to vote for him in 2012. They have been adversely affected by Obama’s lousy economy and were no-shows in 2010. The excitement over Obama is gone.
She was asked her opinion. What is she supposed to do - take the Mitt Romney route and hide under a desk ... say she approves ... lie by saying she doesn’t have an opinion?
There are a lot of voters out there who don’t pay a lot of attention to politics and aren’t aware of just how bad Obama is for America. They can relate to things like rappers who praise killing cops being invited to OUR White House. Things like this resonate with them more than debt ceilings and foreign policy issues. Anything that makes Obama look bad is worth publicizing.
The next gang banger hauled in front of a judge ought to site this event in his own defense..... It’s OK right?
Is this a racial slur? A Freudian slip? Stereotyping a Black woman as a servant?, slave?, mopping the Massers floors? HOW DARE YOU? You racist PIG!

I think all of this should be brought to the attention of the voters when it is time to go to the polls This plus the other asinine things this bunch has done ...Everything these communist do should be brought up..I think Sarah Palin would do it but have no hope the others would..
Just big fingers that hit two keys at the same time.
But you must understand they are trying very hard to trip her up with these silly petty things.
They think they can once again “Katie Couric” her.
Maybe Jim Robinson has an opinion.
See # 32
People who don’t like Palin aren’t going to change their opinions and those of us who do like her aren’t either. Not many on the fence when it comes to Sarah, according to polls. I say keep criticizing everything about Obama she can.
Let’s hope they keep doing stuff like this keep on showing their true colors and 2012 will be a bloodbath for him.
Sarah is nitpicked to death. She should say something, or she shouldn’t.
Thank goodness she is stronger than a lot of us.
Personally I think all his blunders should be criticized.
Big and little.
One thing about Sarah, though. People are strongly interested in her. Most of us love her but the haters hate more strongly about her than anyone. It’s weird.
Romney - yawn
Gingrich - yawn
Daniels - tiny little yawn
But Sarah — the haters latch onto any thread that mentions her and it’s like it’s their life to criticize her.

Dark and lonely on a summer’s night.
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
Watchdog barking. Do he bite?
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
Slip in his window. Break his neck.
Then his house I start to wreck.
Got no reason. What the heck?
Kill my landlord. Kill my landlord.
C-I-L-L my land lord!
Exactly, it diverts another few news cycles away from all the illegal shi'ite that is going to be coming out of the White Hut over the next 6 months.
Run, Sarah, Run...Drill, Baby, Drill!
Really? He spelled kill with a “C”?

Performing last night, Mr Lynn Jr spoke of the challenges of crime and violence that face children and celebrated the rise of Barack Obama.
He said he was walking into the White House with 'love on my sleeve'.
He ended by paraphrasing Martin Luther King Jr, by saying: 'one King's dream, he was able to Barack us.'
