Opinionators get into a simplistic love-hate thing with public figures. Sullivan doesn’t want to hear anything bad about Obama and won’t consider anything good about Palin. He doesn’t get that he’s half a world away from Alaska and knows nothing about local conditions there. That’s a temptation for all pundits — they start to believe that the world is as simple as their columns — but gays in particular tend to be pretty narrowly focused on simple “yay-boo” interpretations nowadays.

Or, maybe it's his spouse, Aaron, that requires that Andrew profess his hatred of women inorder to renew his fidelity towards only him. I can ‘almost’ get the gay blades being affected by PDS, what I don’t understand is other women. Hearing all the chatter about jealousy is just not ringing true for me - it’s something else and I’ve yet to get an honest answer from any of my friends as to what and why they suffer as they do.

Joshua Green, you are overlooking the fact that after Palin got her start as an excellent Governor, she joined the McCain ticket and boosted McCain’s numbers.

McCain lost the election. He had Palin on a leash so she couldn’t do anything. To say Palin lost the election is idiotic.
