As funny as it seems, babies have been used to smuggle things for many years now. Drugs have been found in diapers and even inside babies. I would imagine it would be pretty easy to put some type of weapon or explosive in a diaper. Is it common to find babies being used for smuggling? Probably not, but it does happen- so some babies must be checked just to show the bad guys it may be done.
