President Barack Obama's approval rating has hit its highest point in two years — 60 percent — and more than half of Americans now say he deserves to be re-elected, according to an Associated Press-GfK poll taken after U.S. forces killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden.
In worrisome signs for Republicans, the president's standing improved not just on foreign policy but also on the economy, and independent Americans — a key voting bloc in the November 2012 presidential election — caused the overall uptick in support by sliding back to Obama after fleeing for much of the past two years.

* Sixty-nine percent say Obama will keep America safe, up from 61 percent in March; 65 percent call him a “strong leader,” up from 57 percent.
* Sixty-three percent say Obama cares about people like them; 63 percent also say that he understands the problems of ordinary Americans.
* Sixty-three percent view Obama favorably, up from 59 percent in March.
* 53 percent now say he deserves to be re-elected
I tried to find out, but I wasn’t able to find the demographics. I did find out that the poll was conducted via cell phone and lan lines. Seems to me they are completely leaving out a huge amount of the elderly population for this particular survey.
Okay, so Present Stroker gets 60% of the dnc, ACORN, SEIU and the UAW.
Obviously this poll was heavily skewed towards the ANTI-America crowd.
We WILL throw his worthless ass out of OUR White House in 2012.

A few points...
This AP poll is notoriously bogus.
1.) In November when the Repubs swept the elections, it still had Obama at 52% approval (when all other polls had him in the low 40s). What president would have an approval rating at 50%+ and go on to lose the biggest mid term in history? Please!
2.) This poll is of “adults” not voters. Further suspect.
3.) It oversampled Dems by 15 points. Whereas Gallup and Rasmessen has them basically even. Bogus!
They blame Bush for that. It’s unbelievable how utterly stupid a large portion, perhaps a majority, of the electorate really is. I have asked a great many people over the years what they think of Obrawna, and I’d have to say the majority say something along the lines of they “like” him. I ask them what it is about him they “like”, and I get no cogent responses, it’s just “like”. Reminds me of teenage girls who “fall in like” with a boy.
