is IN like CA? do they have a history of having everything overturned by hack judges?

As a former employee of the Indiana Supreme Court, I can assure you that IN has an incredibly good record on allowing Legislation to continue forward, without getting involved (unless it violates the Indiana Constitution, of course)

FYI: The significant exception is property taxes. Check out Indiana's history on the topic. Finding a tax plan that is acceptable to Chicago-junior (NW IN), and to the vast majority of the remainder of the very agricultural state, AND sufficiently fair for the Supremes... well, it has been an issue for generations. I believe the last 8 or 9 plans have all been eventually struck down and sent back to that Legislature.
