That’s the bottom line on this process. The doctors pushing this should lose their license.
As to Chas/Chaz, people are misunderstanding. There was no ACTUAL surgical sex change. The breasts were removed (as a cancer patients might be), and male hormones administered. However the vagina remains intact. There is a procedure to “manufacture” a penis but it is a crude process and the patient runs the risk of losing sexual nerver receptivity totally. Chaz decided not to risk it.
Chas can call herself Chaz, people change their names for many reasons and nobody gives it much thought. However the “sex change” business has degenerated more into a matter of self-mutilation and opinion.
It’s my understanding most people who undergo this process soon come to regret the decision. It’s mostly just a means of running from a problem. But you can’t outrun yourself.

That’s rather divaish like she is about to dramatically swoon. If nothing else she should have a copy of Chastity’s old record album. Before she put on the weight she briefly tried for a recording career. I once watched her and her partner ( some fellow who looked remarkably close to Sonny) and the truth is she wasn’t bad. They had a decent sound.
