"I believe Scott Brown is an honorable man," Warren said. "But he has not been the independent voice in the Senate that so many expected him to be. He's voted 87-percent of the time with his national Republican leaders."

And this "independent voice" will be right down the middle.

Please! Oust away. We’d be just as screwed with a Marxist Democrat in his place. And I’d respect the Marxist Democrat more.

I still haven’t received my demanded refund of my Scott Brown campaign contribution. Should I sue?

He's voted 87 percent of the time with his national Republican leaders," said Warren.

US Representative Barney Frank, a fellow Democrat from Newton, publicly declared that Warren should not run, telling Politico, "I think the timing is bad for him." --------------------------------------------------------------

I see Freepers who think Martha Coakley would have been better than 87% with Republicans. True Geniuses.

This mayor is a useless opportunist 0bot. He hasn’t finished one term and Even Barney Frank doesn’t want him. Scott Brown is the best thing to happen to MA in 50 years!

This guy wants to leave Newton already? The rich Newtonian Democrats aren’t yet done patting themselves on the back for electing a black guy as mayor.

You're right about Warren's "independent voice" comment. He'd be just as lockstep with the Democratic party as he claims Brown is with his party.

Really, 87% with the GOP isn't that bad. Beats the hell out of Kennedy or Kerry. Brown has certainly had some bad votes but as a Californian, I'd take that record over Boxer or DiFi any day.

Those who stubbornly insist on making the perfect the enemy of the good will whine like babies when Democrats make gains in their Senate majority.

Scott Brown replaced Ted Kennedy who habitually got American Conservative Union rating in the single digits. People who think 87% is treacherously low are so disconnected from reality they really need to seek mental health treatment.

Not that it will matter much. Brown is the most popular state-wide politician in his state.
