The AP article I posted in #7. Whether it is correct or not I don’t know. I transposed the number which should have been 34,600. Google will give you data on murder in Mexico and along the Border. I believe I read a story while looking for this info that 97 Americans were murder in Mexico in 2009.

I'm just guessing here, but that's greater than the American casualties in Iraq and Afghanistan combined.

Kind of puts things in perspective.

But Americans travelng to Mexico is perfectly safe!
