You touch on an important point, perhaps sarcastically.

Are conditions in the black community, in our ghettos, in inner city schools, the economies of cities dominated by minority groups better now that Obama is president?

Has Obama done anything which has specifically helped the black community, especially the poor black community?

But, carry this one step further. Are the bad conditions in so many black communities the result of racism, when we have a black president, a president under whom conditions have not markedly improved in any way?????

Are conditions in the cities so bad due to racism, when so many of these cities have black mayors, black city council members, black chiefs of police, black members of the board of education, etc.????????

“the black community, in our ghettos, in inner city schools, the economies of cities dominated by minority groups “

Those demographics, which include whites and various other races as well, believe in “hope”. They won’t get off their butts and make things happen. They sit and wait, hoping everyone else will give them something.

The democrats have a vested interest in keeping blacks and other minorities dependent upon them. They are told from the outset that white people won’t let them get ahead. That republicans hate them, etc etc. etc.

The few that dare achieve are excoriated. Just look at what the dems did to Clarence Thomas. And other blacks joined in with the bashing.
