My understanding is that religiously observant Jews, esp. Orthodox, are FAR more conservative than the “Secular” Jews that are Jewish by heritage, but haven’t likely set foot in a Temple in 30 years.

Yes, that would be an accurate statement, statistically. But there are some religiously observant Jews who lean left, and some "secular" Jews - some here on FR - who are staunchly conservative politically.
