Thanks kitchen. This is a trivial result of what must have been an expensive and pointless study. The only thing that can be known for certain from studying DNA from living populations is what genes and chromosomes exist in the living population. Sometimes some shared (genetic) ancestor can be determined -- because the survivors survived -- but most emphatically *not* the geographical origin.
