I feel so sorry for “ Chastity” ...a child given a name from a mother that lived as a sex symbol...

Good point. In reading the article, I got the feeling we're supposed to think that Cher had no influence over this mess. But there's just no getting away from the name, Chastity, given to her/him by the sex symbol mother.

If there were any significance or unconscious desire attached in naming her child Chastity, it sure backfired.

I remember a couple years back when I first got HDTV. I was half watching some show and an interview with Cher popped up. She is approaching 70, but her face is immobile and taut, the work of much, much plastic surgery. The telltale sign was her hands...she clasped them in front of her face and they looked like they belonged to Helen Thomas!

No wonder her kid ended up like this...the parent can't deal with reality and so not save her own daughter from sinking into insanity.
