Don’t you know? Black Americans are only allowed to have “correct opinions”. It’s one of the most important rules on the Democratic Party Plantation.
If you’re a Black American and you have an “incorrect opinion” about anything, you make the Plantation Master very, very angry.

The official term for this is "Identity Politics". Peoples' individuality is secondary to being bound to a particular group through their "identity" (such as being Black).
That group is then bound to a Party/movement. It becomes difficult (due to shunning) and over time impossible (due to indoctrination of the young) to separate identity from the group from the Party/movement.
This is EXACTLY what has happened with the Black community, by design I'd point out, and the results are a 90%+ Democrat voting pattern. Despite the fact that Blacks share a heck of a lot of conservative policy beliefs (such as on abortion, charter schools, immigration, etc) with Republicans. They don't vote as individuals based on policy beliefs, the vote their Black identity which tells them that in order to be a good Black they must vote Democrat.
This is also, exactly, what the Dems have been trying to do with Hispanics. The problem with Hispanics is that they don't have the emotional baggage of slavery, segregation, Jim Crow, etc that can be leveraged into the acceptance of victimhood that can be so critical to setting a group identity.

... on the Democratic Party Plantation.
While the "plantation" analogy fits, I should add that in many ways the Democrat Party acts in a manner that's more consistent with being a cult.
