State Sen. Suzanne Williams veered into oncoming traffic on the evening of Dec. 26 on a highway in Hartley County, Texas, striking a GMC Yukon carrying a pregnant Texas woman, say police. The woman, 30-year-old Brianna Michelle Gomez, died from injuries caused by the accident...

Williams’ two grandchildren were riding in the back of her Honda CRV not fastened into their safety seats, as is required by Texas law...

Williams’ grandson, 3-year-old Tristan Charles Williams, was ejected from the CRV during the accident. The report indicates that he and his 7-year-old brother were lying down in the back seat of the vehicle prior to the accident.

But rather than wait for authorities and emergency crews to respond, Williams moved her grandson Tristan Williams from the roadway back into his safety seat immediately following the accident...

The move by Williams to move her grandson into his safety seat after the accident raises questions because of Williams’ involvement with seat belt and child safety seat legislation.

Williams has pushed for legislation in Colorado that makes seat belt offenses a primary offense, allowing officers to stop cars if passengers aren’t wearing seat belts. Seat belt violations remain a secondary offense in Colorado.

Hmmm, no mention of party... favors criminals over honest law abiding citizens... cover up in a criminal act. Could she possibly be a RAT? Of course, she is.

Gee no mention of her political affiliation. That means she's a Dem.

If any doubt remains, the fact that she's a statist, lying, hypocrite should remove it.

I’m a bit disappointed that the Yukon didn’t ‘finish the job’. It sure sucks to have a nutcase at such a high level of power.

It seems the media does not realize she’s a Democrat and even in CO she was required to have the kids in a seat belt.

one more example of do as I say, not as I do. Laws don’t have much impact on the Democrat anointed class.

The problem, say opponents of the bill, is that it would flood society with criminals and no one to chase them down and bring them back to face charges if they skip court appearances.

This might be a good thing. It would put Bail bondsmen out of business and keep poor criminals in jail.
