This test is not an easy one. It is a test of your civics knowledge. It is one of the better ones that I have seen. The website reports that college professors average about 55%. I find that odd. See the chart following the quiz that shows how our elected officials did.
I will fess up to a 93.94% score missing 2 out of the 33. This test is by the same group that did one in '08, '09 and '10. Enjoy.
I didn’t see 33 either...they either got real tough real fast or else we have some dumbo professors...[yeah I know...]
Anyway, a Philosopher King here proud to be seated in these halls to confer, consult and otherwise hobnob with my fellow kings. :]
I have to agree that most university faculty that I have known over the years would likely do far better than 55% on this very simple set of questions --- even the applied math guys.

You answered 9 out of 10 correctly 90.00 %

Those are the same three that I missed.
” This is scary “
16% of the general population got the “Free Market vs Central Planning” question right - and only 10% of the politicians...
I think I see the problem, here....
I got 10 out of 10. I am,,,,a Philosopher Queen.
32 out of 33 on the longer test.
Misread the answer to the public good question, and answered it wrong.
Ok...mo betta
missed 1 of the 33...
a triumph!
but no photos....wouldn’t want to spike the ball or nuthin....
OK. That’s better. I got 31 out of 33, but I could swear I clicked “Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.” and not “Life, liberty and property.” I wuz robbed!
10/10

I thought it was pretty basic stuff.
Well I too wondered about the ten questions (got 100%) - then did the 33 one. Got 32 out of 33 correct 96.97 %.
Missed the last one: “If taxes equal government spending, then:” - Bummer!
All in all, pretty easy. Thanks.
” Is someone keeping a running score? “
Not that I know of - but so far, only two of us has ‘fessed up to “7 out of 10” the rest have been 9s and 10s...
(And I haven’t seen a score below “30 out of 33” on the long-form test)
Pretty fast company here on FR... ;)
lol
Thank you for telling me that! I was getting a bit nervous that I was the only one that missed 3 out of 10. It helped even further that you missed the exact same ones!
:)
” If taxes equal government spending, then: - Bummer! “
I ‘missed’ that one, too, but ‘under protest’ — I think the ‘zero debt’ answer is equally, if not more, true as the ‘correct’ answer....
Dude, we are perfect.
9 out of 10 and they were easy. I messed up one question that I should have gotten right, but over thought it.
Same one I missed for the same reason.
