CNN ^

Who does best against Obama? Paul. The congressman from Texas, who also ran as a libertarian candidate for president in 1988 and who is well liked by many in the tea party movement, trails the president by only seven points (52 to 45 percent) in a hypothetical general election showdown. Huckabee trails by eight points, with Romney down 11 points to Obama.

Didn't your momma ever tell you not to throw stones from that glass house of yours? Lol.
Yes, but it's not a problem because I always open the windows first.

You cite only presidential elections. As you know, there are other elections in this country.

Seems your post# 51 left the building. Lol. I hate it when that happens. I have no idea what it was but I'm sure it was brilliant.
I wish the moderators would let me know why they have removed a post when they do. How can I reform if I do not know my offense?
Good thing there are other freepers to keep me informed, huh.

You cite only presidential elections. As you know, there are other elections in this country.Yes, I do know that. But this thread is about Ron Paul and his aspirations to become the 45th POTUS. So in context of presidential elections no libertarian has ever come close to winning and given the party's innate desire to nominate the unelectable they likely never will.

didnt Paul just flip flop on a huge issue??Good point. Ron Paul previously supported DADT. His recent vote to repeal it is one more thing that shouldnt surprise us. Though Paul professes Christianity, as recently as 2009 he said he does not even think homosexuality is a sin.
The man is a loon.
