Carter was shocked by Pyongyang priorities

North Korea begged for food aid from Jimmy Carter and other members of the Elders, a group of international statesmen, during their recent visit and promised it would be distributed to its people, the former U.S. president said in a report.

But, at the same time, the North showed Carter a large hospital without a proper supply of water, prompting Carter to comment: “We saw no reason why a government that can develop advanced weapons cannot provide water for their hospitals.”

Carter chronicled the April 26-28 trip in a report posted on the Web site of the Carter Center. Accompanying the 86-year-old former U.S. president were former Finnish president Martti Ahtisaari, ex-Norwegian prime minister Gro Harlem Brundtland and former Irish president Mary Robinson

In all likelihood, even the hospital visit was staged to exaggerate the situation which is already miserable enough. SK media reported that other elders, who accompanied Carter to Pyongyang, met European diplomats in Seoul, and some heated words were exchanged between the elders and the diplomats over elders' playing in Pyongyang's propaganda.

Why, oh, why, does the only president ever to come from my beloved state have to be the second worst in history?

There are times when no words are sufficient to adequately describe the depth of one’s stupidity.

When dealing with Carter, those times are now.

Was it something in peanuts from his field to make him go so loopy?

Don't blame Peanuts.

He tried like hell to be the worst, but Zippo blew by him like he was sitting still.

I would argue that Jimmy Carter is the worst President in American history. Worse even than Hussein at this time. It’s not just that Jimmy was a tremendously bad President, he most certainly was, but Carter has managed to do more damage to this nation in the 30 years he’s been out of office than any single other President (or person) that I can think of.

Carter has undermined US foreign policy, both Democrat and Republican, at almost every possible opportunity for decade upon decade. Additionally, Carter has damaged free market, democratic governments in nations throughout the world at literally every turn.

Carter is a naive idiot, but he is also spiteful and downright nasty. He is a bitter, angry person who made every effort to undermine his successors and in the process has done this nation a huge amount of damage.

We should revoke his passport and leave him there. The man is a pig without the stones to do his own killing.

Look at the bright side... we have another younger retard stooge in the chamber who will be humping dictator leg until @2040.

Then we also have Al Gore to worry about, even though he did not make POTUS.

"He tried like hell to be the worst, but Zippo blew by him like he was sitting still. "

Still...it doesn't look like Carter will give up without a fight.

Maybe if he goes to Iran, embraces amnutjob, apologizes for the (failed) hostage rescue attempt and praises the Revolutionary Guards, he'll make some progress.

I recently saw a video of a female North Korean traffic cop, directing traffic. She did her thing all the time and there was absolutely NO TRAFFIC.

Pyongyang is a Potemkin Village in a prison state.
