I think Johnson was confused and thought he was at a Green Party debate.

I can't argue with that.

Among the weirdness, there was one Johnson idea that stood out for me:

Clearly not of the "earned citizenship" W/McCain/Graham amnesty camp, he had a different approach on immigration that of a guest worker only program.

I think it's an idea too quickly dismissed. What I don't understand is his premise that illegal immigration's somehow a job creator. He didn't have time to lay the premise.

Unfortunately, we've had so many years of Repubicrats and Demicans promising citizenship (for votes), it's hard to imagine anything less than amnesty being accepted as immigration reform. We've largely been saved by the parties' unwillingness to share "victory." The debate needs to move in the other direction, away from amnesty.

It's good to see AZ and Jan Brewer having stood up to the feds. With the cartel death squads killing thousands per year and now Hezbollah setting up in Mexico near the border, we, as a Americans, need stand up to those constantly framing the discussion in terms of racism.

Despite repeated rejections of the DREAM Act by Congress, Obama's ICE behaves as if it's law. This is unacceptable but such fiats are par for the course with this imperial president.
