Because there has been so much misinformation and lying about the baby in the womb, you must actually show this unborn child to the mother because in most cases she doesn’t understand that she has a real alive human person growing inside her body. The pro-aborts have been so effective they have convinced women that their pre-born babies are actually just a bunch of unrestrained cells and not a budding human being. Women want to believe this lie because they don’t want the responsibility of pregnancy. A sonogram explains the humanness of the unborn child and the woman then has no support for her purposefully killing that unborn child.

"Our nation cannot continue down the path of abortion, so radically at odds with our history, our heritage, and our concepts of justice. This sacred legacy, and the well-being and the future of our country, demand that protection of the innocents must be guaranteed and that the personhood of the unborn be declared and defended throughout our land."

I am glad that they passed this bill!! But I could imagine the abortion Dr turning on the equipment but telling the girl she does not have to look?

I applaud the bill!

So, instead of banning the barbaric practice, which their sworn oaths require, and which they had a veto-proof majority to do, they say, “here, look at these nice pictures. Now, let’s get on with the “procedure”...”

I am in agreement with you! As far as I am concerned, the life issue trumps all others, from National Security to economy to everything.

Once we stop fighting for life, there would be no point in voting. If the GOP drop the life issue from the platform, might just as well stay home, unless a 3rd party fills the gap.

I am still glad though that they passed this bill rather than do nothing.

I would like to see this nation wide, they should show this in sex ed, between putting condoms on cucumbers etc.

The following terms are oxymorons.....pro choice/pro abortion Christian.

I will even go as far as saying “Christian Democrat” is a opxymoron and all because of the life issue as well as anti Christian values.

I have never seen whether the woman or the taxpayer funds the sonograms. Does anyone know?

I truly agree.

I had a friend who recently had an abortion — and believe me, they are STILL telling these girls lie after lie. Still telling them it’s “just a clump of cells.” And the girls believe them ....because, well, they’re just not ready for a baby yet and that easily justified it.

It’s truly hideous.

And so I forgot to add ...that it will be great if this bill can stem off some of those lies, even a bit. Of course, there will likely be lying and fraud anyway — they’ll show pictures of nothing and use that to alleviate any guilt. Still, for some ...it might be the game changer.

They want to believe the lies. They see it as the unintended consequence of a “good time.” Plus veto-proof is nonexistent with the liberal Straus as Speaker. Should have kept Craddick
