It is not that the Feds can't control the border.... They do not, for reasons that are unknown to meI would humbly suggest there are billions of reasons for that. Drug cartels are awash with untraceable billions in cash. Officials and politicians in the "right" positions on both sides of the border can benefit handsomely - or they can take the risk of being in the way!
Those reasons are as old as time...
Of course, millions of newly minted Liberal voters and cheap labor are attractive reasons as well.

What does the government of Mexico do with its time? Does it do anything at all? Or is it Si - manana?
Aw, c'mon, they have elevated taking bribes to an art form.

There’s only one way to defund the ‘cash cow’ of the drug trade.
It was the only way to shut down the violence brought about by Prohibition, too.
The country is not ready to face the unpleasant and harsh facts yet and it will produce other problems as well. But when it gets bad enough we won’t have any choice.

"Hezbollah is partnering with drug organizations, but which ones is not clear at this time..." What are the odds they might be the same ones associated with decapitations?
Something has always struck me as peculiar with that signature murder technique. I wonder if it isn't more spiritually induced in the mind of the criminal. Past generations of Mexican criminals weren't as preoccupied with the spectacle of decapitation, but simply settled for the death of their adversaries. It was closer in keeping with their Catholic cultural influence.
With the Chinese and other international aliens in Mexico, influencing their economy, and not to the betterment of the common man, there is probably a panoply of activity ongoing in Mexico which is never being reported.

Hezbollah is even now overrepresented by even one in the Mexican trucking industry.
