Islamic terrorists plot to attack U.S. from Mexico

Terrorists from several Middle Eastern groups have infiltrated Latin American countries — especially Mexico — in order to plot and carry out attacks against the United States, according to an alarming exposé broadcast this week by the world’s largest Spanish news network.

The report specifically mentions Iran’s increasing activities in Latin America in its attempt to circumvent U.S. sanctions as well as its ties to the radical Lebanon-based Islamic group Hezbollah. In the past, both the Law Enforcement Examiner and Judicial Watch reported on several occasions that Hezbollah and other terrorist groups are active south of the border.
In fact, the CRS report quotes a separate State Department antiterrorism document that says the U.S. remains concerned that sympathizers of Hezbollah and the Sunni Muslim Palestinian group Hamas are raising money among the sizable Middle Eastern communities in the tri-border area of Argentina.
This confirms an earlier report by former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Marine General Peter Pace, who as far back as 2007 warned the US Congress about terrorists in South America.

BIG BEND NATIONAL PARK, Texas (AP) — The bloody drug war in Mexico shows no sign of relenting. Neither do calls for tighter border security amid rising fears of spillover violence.
This hardly seems a time the U.S. would be willing to allow people to cross the border legally from Mexico without a customs officer in sight. But in this rugged, remote West Texas terrain where wading across the shallow Rio Grande undetected is all too easy, federal authorities are touting a proposal to open an unmanned port of entry as a security upgrade.
By the spring, kiosks could open up in Big Bend National Park allowing people from the tiny Mexican town of Boquillas del Carmen to scan their identity documents and talk to a customs officer in another location, at least 100 miles away.

Last week, the Honduran National Congress passed a law allowing the military to perform police functions, and Assistant Secretary of State Maria Otero visited Honduras with Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Todd Robinson, to promote security initiatives.
The United States is advancing a regional security strategy which apparently is oriented toward the militarization of Central America and the participation of private security contractors in policing, a strategy also being promoted for the region by the Inter American Development Bank (IDB) and former Colombian president Alvaro Uribe.
The murder of a Honduran national university rector’s son by police officers touched off the biggest crisis in Honduras since the June 28, 2009 military coup. Headline grabbing government shuffles and actions purporting to purge the police have occurred, however the same career officers responsible for creating one of the most corrupt police forces imaginable are still in charge, while the politicians overseeing the process were the key actors in the military coup.

Obama’s Middle Eastern scheme of war is going to happen soon. With the election of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, he has all his ducks in a row.
Obama is now working to take BiBi out of power in Israel. Panetta began by demonizing and blaming Israel for making her Muslim neighbors hate her. Panetta demands Israel “get back to the negotiating table” as if it is Israel who withholds peace. (They had planned on another “flotilla” drama confrontation to demonize Israel, but Israeli lawyers were able to stop the boats in their European ports with law suits and court orders.)
Hillary announced last week that Israel is a “human rights violator” because, she claims, Israel is abusing women. They are probably coordinating with the Israeli left like they did with the Muslim Brotherhood for massive civil unrest. They want someone in power who will agree to Obama’s “peace” agreement demands and I think they have set up the conditions for war to extract Obama’s terms from Israel.
I am confident that much of the article is correct. Some caution is needed because of an obvious leftist bias.

At this time I'm concentrating on ready to eat canned foods like Spam and fruits like grapefruit and oranges.

Obama to slash National Guard force on U.S.-Mexico border

Blaming budget cuts, the Obama administration early next year will cut the number of National Guard troops patrolling the U.S.-Mexico border by at least half, according to a congressman who was briefed on the plan.
The National Guard said an announcement will be made by the White House “in the near future,” but Rep. Duncan Hunter, a California Republican who has learned of the plans, said slashing the deployment in half is the minimum number, and he said it will mean reshuffling the remaining troops along the nearly 2,000-mile border.
In California, that will mean going from 264 Guard troops down to just 14, he said.
Mr. Hunter said the pending cuts are another reason Congress and President Obama should revisit the automatic defense spending reductions that kicked in with the failure last month of the deficit super-committee to reach a broader spending deal.
