I'm sure O'Reilly will come back to this again on tonight's episode.

Colmes is the most reliably knee-jerk of all the liberal commentators. He musts have a wire from his knee that opens and closes his mouth.

Then again, who really cares what Colmes or Ted Baxter really thinks about anything.

WTH cares what Alan Colmes thinks?

And why does BOR pay this clown for political “commentary”? He is a hack and offers no insight whatsoever.

BOR is a pinhead for using hacks as political commentators.

I thought that was pretty interesting and glad Bill stuck to his guns. I wouldn’t say Alan was lying, I don’t think he’s a liar, I think he’s like so many other liberals, in complete denial. Oh wait, denial is lying..ha, what’ya know.

Why FOX retains Colmes is hard to understand. He is one vile person constantly lying and using the typical liberal tactic of speaking at 600 words per minute so you cannot get a word in edgewise.

A left leaning opinion is one thing but to constantly spout lies so as to defend your position is so Saul Alinski (EDBUH eternal damnation be upon him)

Alan Colmes says, and has been saying for years, that Enhanced Interregation Techniques (EIT) yield nothing.

So because some hack Commie Pinko keeps saying the same lie, it must be true? BS. After Pete King exposed this, the lefts argument is now destroyed. Now Colmes is reduced to lying about Rummy's comments. That should really bolster his argument. I love that after Ted Baxter asked Rummy to come on his show to refute the claims, he goes on Hannity to do it. Screw you BOR you Obummer apologist.

What Rumsfeld had said was waterboarding didn’t happen at Gitmo.

And it didn’t.

It happened in foreign prisons.

I say waterboard em all.

Alan Colmes is a pretty good barometer of everything that is wrong with America. I don’t think I’ve ever heard the man say anything remotely correct.

This has both video clips of first Colmes lying on O’Reilly and then Rumsfeld on Hannity refuting Colmes.

DOn’t care a whit what Colmes or O’Reilly think about anything. As far as I’m concerned O’Reilly is a typical media closed liberal who masquerades as a conservative for the income it provides. He’s as phony as Dennis Miller, both of whom should never be trusted. They’ve both found a trough from which to make money; otherwise, we’d never be hearing from them.

I sent this very info into the Factor last night after watching Hannity. I don't look for it to be read on tonight's “letters” though.

Yes, it was a 'heated discussion' with Alan Colmes and Bill O'Reilly simultaneously shouting at each other while Monica Crowley remained calm (and mostly silent) but looked quite uncomfortable. As always, the Resident Leftist, Colmes, assertively shouted his lies. Bill O'Reilly shouted back and the result was that I hit the 'mute' button on my remote because, no matter the personalities or the point of the debate, two people shouting at each other is simply unintelligible as well as annoying. Colmes is so predictable that he is useless. The man doesn't have an original thought, just left-wing Talking Points and knee-jerk reactions to whatever Republicans say or do. Monica Crowley, she with the PhD. next to her name, is oddly inarticulate and, as someone supposedly representing 'the right', usually not too convincing. She hasn't yet learned to be concise and succinct. I can't imagine why not. Crowley has been writing political commentary for 20 years and has been on Fox News shows since the mid-90's. You would think she knew how to deliver the conservative message by now. Perhaps having the exasperating Alan Colmes as a brother-in-law is hindering Crowley's ability to form coherent, compelling rebuttals to Colmes left-wing nonsense.

In any case, despite the emotion, it was a frustrating segment. Of course, much of the O'Reilly Factor is that way. He is no conservative, tries too hard to be neutral and thinks he far more intelligent than he really is. O'Reilly doesn't have a clue about economics and spouts nonsense, always with a belligerence that ignorance often carries. His recent discussion on the existence of hell with Rev. Franklin Graham (Billy Graham's middle-aged son) was embarrassing for Bill as it clearly demonstrated O'Reilly's ignorance of biblical scripture and his apparently secular conceptions of same. However, 'The Factor' does have some interesting guests. Dennis Miller is always entertaining and while not a hardcore conservative, Miller is a refreshingly intelligent entertainer who seems to realize the fallacies that many liberal positions are built on, and he has rejected them. Great vocabulary and his use of cultural tokens to illustrate his position on any given subject is always interesting. On the opposite side of that coin, Fox's use of the despicable 'Reverend' Al Sharpton is highly offensive. Not only is Sharpton a blowhard equal to O'Reilly, he is a race hustler with a long, sordid record of using race to play on 'white guilt', gaining money and notoriety. I won't watch the fool.
