First of all Laz you are probably one of my favorite FReepers and the whole "black face paint" is what got the trolls to attack me not only on this thread but on the American Idol thread.
The reason I HAD black face paint was for White Sox games (yes, I'm one of those crazy fans who paint my face black and white).
The Pakistani neighbors have flood lights on all four sides of their home. I was taking pictures from a wooded area but HAD to be in all black down to gloves and shoes because of this.
When the video camera died due to battery I was stuck with my iPhone and had to use flash and after a few pictures the Pakistanis came outside so I ran like hell into the woods opposite of where I started from to deter them.
A lot of folks said I put my father in danger but I can assure you that I made many moves to prevent this.
In addition, many neighbors (12 houses on the street) majority of the neighbors called the police and FBI and led to the end of the potential sleeper cell.
Yes, black face paint sounds silly, and it most likely was. But I'm an boy with 50% Irish blood and am very white so I just randomly decided on using the face paint left over from the 2008 White Sox playoff game against Tampa.
I know people are thinking I am a nut. I have a degree in History, an MBA in Finance, I am a small business owner an have a very high IQ. The naysayers can't even comprehend how smart I am.
But to end this whole black face paint issue, when there are bright flood lights on all four sides of a home it was essential that I was in all black down to my very white face.
Whatever, criticize me, mock me, laugh, whatever! The FBI came in and the activity stopped!!! So what I did was potentially prevent an attack on my city! And I am damn proud of that!!!
