It's the right thing to do for New Yorkers, the NY Police and Fire Departments.
It'll be the photo opportunity of a lifetime to REALLY show the world that we are united.
Do the right thing Mr. President.
“Seriously, if ObaMao invited George W. Bush to his Ground Zero appearance, it would show a lot of class. When was the last time ObaMao showed any class? Is he even capable of doing so?”
It’s ironic because if he did it, it would be a plus for HIM (Obama).
Imagine the image of both of them out there with the grey jackets and bullhorns (like President Bush wore that day) and giving a speech to the crowd alongside FDNY firemen.
Even conservatives would love this image. And he would gain some independent voters.
Oh that’s good!
No, Obama shouldn’t go to NYC on Thursday nor should Bush. This is sheer political theater.
That might be the best post EVER.
Right. Let’s have George Bush campaign for 0bama because that is all that this photo-op really is. Then we will all sing the hymn of bi-partisanship Kumbaya!
Now why would this narcissistic man-child share the adulation that will be showered upon him on Thurs with anyone else? Just not in his make-up. But we know the truth and so do many others.
The way Obama’s mishandling this thing, I’d hate to see him spread some of the you-know-what onto President Bush.
If he does do it, it will only be because he thinks it will benefit him politically. Pres. Bush should be there or the crowd should chant “Where’s President Bush”
When 9/11 happened, Clinton was in Australia, and regular flights were halted for some days. Bush made special arrangements to allow Clinton to get back to the US. Clinton then rushed to NYC to get there before Bush made his visit. That's a Democrat's idea of grace or decorum--and Obama is worse than Clinton in how he treats people.
That is funny....LOL!
