First, I'm not sure it's possible to "twist" her words anymore than she twists them herself. She is remarkably inarticulate.

But, you conveniently left off the rest of her statement that comes IMMEDIATELY after the sentence you snipped. She says (in its entirety)...

"I hate to say,jeez more ground troop. When yes, 41 years of Gadhafi. He’s got to go."

Maybe "yes" in Palinese means something else. I guess that's possible.

Putting boots on the ground to scoop up Gaddafi is a far different task than putting boots on the ground to nation build.

I believe if I remember correctly, she was against the latter and for the former.
