The story keeps changing, too. They said that OBL’s body was buried in accord with Muslim tradition, but Muslims are supposed to be buried facing Mecca. How in the heck does one manage that with a burial at sea? They surely got rid of the body quickly and should have known that would make people suspicious.

If you are to believe the scuttlebut that the military did this over the objections of the white house (which makes the demeanor of the pres during his presser understandable, and makes it even funnier that one of Rumsfield’s staff broke it on twitter) it makes perfect sense that o would have an “eff them” attitude and just get rid of the body, in an attempt to mollify his muslim supporters in the mid-east.

They turned the chopper toward Mecca just before they shoved OBL out the door. LOL!
