First, whatever happened to the story of Abercrombie not being able to find the original, and references by journalists and others friendly to Obama to there being “embarrassing” information on the document that Obama should not be forced to release? Were they just pre-emptively scrambling for a defense? Yes, there are things that concern me with this whole issue. Was Obama’s visit to Hawaii just before the election related to him being on the ballot? What about the certifications Pelosi signed? I hope there is some good source that separates facts from rumors and is thorough in its research.

Thanks. As I said, maybe the media outlets and Democrat pols were just laying the groundwork for what they expected would be an embarrassment, or they knew or were told something more specific. Who knows?

i know that some believe that Obama was born in Hawaii but that Frank Marshall Davis was the real father. Nothing short of a reliable DNA test would resolve that question - if in fact it is a question - but I would bet a year's salary that such a test would never, ever take place.

So again, I think there are more questions to be answered, but politically I am personally more focused on policies and stopping Obama’s dismantling of the country so many worked and died for. We'll just have to see what else comes up on these issues, as we educate the public on the problems with Obama’s policies and work to get a good candidate to defeat him.

Just one more thing: I do believe that the Founders intended the term “natural born citizen” to mean a person born to citizen parents (excepting those born before the US existed as an independent nation, of course). But our “leaders” in both parties glossed over this, intentionally or otherwise. I wonder if the Democrats will bring it up if a Republican with one citizen parent gets hot in the polls. Maybe then a paternity for Obama more “convenient” to that situation would arise, and be pushed by the media. Who knows? After Clinton escaped conviction after impeachment, anything is possible. Oops, I have gone on too long again.
