Volunteers to go to Afghanistan for training. The guy is the real deal. Of course that won’t stop rabid freeping loons from claiming he’s the anti-Christ.

Maybe after his DADT vote...

Yeah, you didn't see either Senator O'Donnell or Angle voting for DADT.

More to this than meets the eye: Guard units aren’t pulling their annual tours over there - jeez, it takes 5 weeks of Contingency Skills, etc. training just to be a full-up round to go, he has to be on Title 10 federal orders to be in-theater, and the Army’s normal rotation is 15 months.

I hate to say it, but sounds a little like he’s going so he can say he went.

Colonel, USAFR

Give me a break.

Nobody gets sent downrange for annual training. It’s not cost effective.

Brown pulled strings show he could showboat and pad his resume for the next election.

Sleazy.

You being a Trump supporter and all, figured why else would you be promoting Scotty. What we have here is two NE liberal Republicans. Neither one a conservative. Sounds like a perfect match for you.

Why else are you posting this thread? I ask again. For the news? Come on, fess up. You love these guys, more than you're willing to admit. LOL

Here’s a question: How quickly could the strings get pulled to have him train in Afghanistan?

I'll assume he knew about the alleged killing of OBL several hours before the news leaked out. Would that have been enough time to get the strings pulled?

He'll have more photogs there than Kerry did in Vietnam and Cambodia.
