Watching al Jazeera. They are covering the demonstrations in front of the WH. I am sure the WH does not want these demonstrations at the WH. It will inflame the Muslim world, if there is such a thing. I would not want to be at one of our embassies today. We will be at high security alert for some time to come.

Exactly right. Fed cops should break it up and make them all go home.

I agree. I pray all our citizens, embassies, military... will be safe.

Interesting. Thanks for reminding us of Al Jazeera. I’m getting them up now on the computer to see what they are doing. Hadn’t thought of them, but did watch quite a bit during the Egyptian protests.

Something just doesn't sound right on the timing, Bongo has intelligence on him for 8 months. I can't put my finger on it, but if I had to take a Tin Foil guess.... there is chatter of a big AQ strike in DC. Can you imagine the fall out if AQ strikes and it becomes known Bongo had Osama in the cross-hairs since last summer!

Now if AQ pulls one off Bongo explains that it was in retaliation of Osama’s demise.

Those are odd demonstrations. I was trying to think if I could ever remember US citizens celebrating the success of any specific military operation. I can’t think of one. Always any public shows of sentiment involved parades or ceremonies to honor troops in general, or the celebrations at the end of the major wars.

But I’m not so sure the WH, or some of their supporters, would think about the reaction in the Muslim world before they considered visuals for the 2012 election campaign.
