the electoral college was meant to preclude political parties—didn’t work did it!

The “people” never wanted to give up their “king,” looks like they remade their king into their “party” with plenty of skunks standing by ready to do their thing; later dividing themselves up into sub-parties, etc.

Simplify was never to satisfy the masses, and for good reason.

Speaking of sub-parties...

Gunny G: Just WhatThe Hell IS A “Conservative,” Anyway?

(This Is NOT A Question)

My Simple Answer: Like Goldwater, a conservative libertarian (note: small “l”)
I prefer to simplify things, so that’s as far as I would care to define the term.
Remember the old KISS rule: keep it Simple, stupid.

That simple. Google it, if you must.

Most who consider themselves “conservatives” don’t really know, like nobody else really knows what they really mean about anything, either.
Thus, the name/word itself has now become bastardized, like many others.

Myself, I prefer to simplify things, so I will not attempt to define the term beyond that above. Remember the old KISS Rule—keep It simple, Stupid.

Patton was lucky, at least he found one sob in his headquarters who knew wtf he was doing.
Not so any longer in this world, I’m afraid.
