Some of us old time Freepers have some really fond memories of “freeping” the Correspondence Dinner.

I remember my Dad and Mom flinching when Bush spoke. As life-long Republicans they were horrified at the damage he would do. Which came to pass.

For sure, Obama has better speech writers and a better ability to poke fun at himself.

Looking thru your posts... You obviously don’t care for Bush, Ryan, Palin, Trump.... but really felt for some environmentalist that passed away. Are you on the right site? Perhaps you would be more comfortable on DU or some other lib venue.

I’m not sure why you picked this thread to bash President Bush-—he certainly had nothing to do the the Correspondence Dinner.

Personally, I like President Bush—not everything he did, by any means, but I’d take him back any time, especially in light of what we have today.
