President Obama delivered the commencement address at Miami Dade College Friday evening, offering an upbeat challenge to the graduates to lead the nation into the 21st century. But he also used the speech to call for comprehensive immigration reform, saying “it makes no sense to expel talented young people from our country.”
The full immigration section of his remarks:
“I know that several young people here have recently identified themselves as undocumented. Some were brought here as young children, and discovered the truth only as adults. And they’ve put their futures on the line in hopes it will spur the rest of us to live up to our most cherished values.

I think it is time to re-hash this executive order privilege.
“I know some here wish that I could just bypass Congress and change the law myself.”
And he wants to give amnesty to people that think this way. Truly amazing.

Let's compromise.
I'd support a bill or amendment that stipulated that the former young child come forth to immigration within one week of learning the truth (or on their 18th birthday if they learned earlier) and be immediately eligible for permanent residency with citizenship granted after three years, passing an examination and background check or after five years in the military.
Oh, and after renouncing all loyalty to the 'old country' and with a mandate that mommy and daddy (the original lawbreakers) immediately move their collective butt back to mexico the old country and take any kids who did not self identify with them.
That, eliminating anchor babies, and taxing all funds transferred to offending countries at about 85%, would be a fairly good start.

I guess it’s near time to confront the democrat and republican politicians and tell them they have little time to disassemble the fascist government they’ve set up.
It will be better for them if they do this immediately. If they can’t do it, we will, and it will get very bloody, messy and out of control - for them.

During the White House Correspondents Dinner tonight (shown on C-SPAN) he showed a clip from the lion king as a “joke” about his birth....showing all the animals bowing down and the light beaming from the baby lion...him....it was a disgusting symbol of his arrogance...and one more slap in the face of Americans who dare to question.....
