LOL!

The old should everyone be allowed to have a nuclear bomb in their basement argument.

I don’t know about a stinger missile but legally there is no problem with me owning a cannon or flame thrower or a full auto weapon. See the assault weapon ban doesn’t apply to these items just semi auto’s like a .22 rifle.

This is what I mean by you needing to do some research.

It’s probably a silly argument, but I’d tend to think “arms” should be stuff one person can reasonably be expected to be able to carry. Arms, carry. See?

Like I said, it’s probably silly.

I’ve done my research. I own my weapon. You claimed I was afraid of them...you were wrong. I think common sense needs to come into play for you and trailerpark dude in the other response. Why would you need a flame thrower? What is the purpose?

It seems to me that your argument and trailerpark dude is simply BECAUSE I CAN. Or, you argue that if we let the gov’t not allow us to have assault weapons then by God, what are they going to take next. The old “give an inch they take a mile” argument.

Well, each to his own. Plenty of adults can live with the idea of owning weapons for sport or defense of their homes, lives, etc without resorting to it being a weapon that was designed solely for use by a professional soldier. Again, you disagree and by doing so you start calling people stupid or communists or unAmerican. Whatever.
