So how did the music sound? Had you a particular favourite piece?

The music was divine. Jerusalem is and always will be my favourite hymn and it was glorious.

Was the Catholic Archbishop, Vincent Nichols there?

There were at least two Cardinals and a Catholic Archbishop there. I recognised them by their clothing, but I don't know them by sight, so I am not sure if this particular man was there. Giving his position, I would assume he was the Archbishop, I saw though - if they are inviting Catholic Clergy, I can't see them not asking the Head of the Catholic Church in England to pop down the road from Westminster Cathedral to Westminster Abbey.

Checked - the two Cardinals were Cardinal Sean Brady of Armagh and Cardinal Keith O’Brien of Edinburgh, as heads of the Catholic Church in Ireland, and Scotland, respectively. Archbishop Vincent Nichols of Westminster was there as head of the Catholic Church in England and Wales.
