if it is fake, there won’t be credible evidence available. the people behind this aren’t stupid. The Tx/ANG bush docs people were stunningly stupid, and cbs/nyt more so for deciding to use it. we won’t be so lucky again.

That's the point, it doesn't matter if it's a "fake", because it isn't real, for any legal purpose. The document has no pedigree attesting to its authenticity and so is damaged goods right out of the gate. No further inquiry is needed to question its value or lack thereof.
