Before the invention of the light bulb
Insomnia was almost rare
Now we stare at a Freeper Page
at 1AM, with the macula being washed by bright light
mimicking daylight, so nesting instinct do not kick it
I’ve been a night owl most of my life because my sleep is best that way. But I do sleep in a darkened room though. I used to work nights and did better at work doing so. It works out for the best because I can shop later etc at night without all the noise.
