*snort* giggle
Blue healers are smart! He’s teaching me not to leave my laptop logged in...
Seriesly. ;-)
I know my dog and cats like to be petted. They don’t mind if we remind ourselves that they are there to “pet” when we speak of them.
I had asked my cats if they objected to being called pets.

When asked if they had a comment on the article my sheep said “BAA” and horse said “NEIGH”.
Guess I have as much idle, dead time on my hands as the idiots that pen such ridiculous articles....
Best LOYALTY test is “Lock your dog and wife in the trunk of your car and see who is happiest to see you when you let them out”.
Strong ‘hits’ coming in 5 4 3 2 1 second....
“Irrefutable proof that you simply CAN’T fix stupid, even by giving it a PhD.”
Giving stupid an advanced degree infuses it with arrogance.
These nutters are crazy as a loon ... they’ve got bats in their belfries, for sure.
“Ocassionaly they saunter down demanding food or belly rubs.”
That is one thing my cat never demands. In fact, one of the easiest ways to get her to bare her claws is to rub her tummy.
Wonder if Fiona Macrae considers it insulting for me to refer to the cat as my “fur-baby”...
“Hey, I bought and paid for my two kittehs - I OWN THEM. I have receipts and their papers to prove it! ;o)”
That’s what YOU think. :)
“I have a cat that likes to be petted, but I dont call her pet. Mostly I call her dummy.”
I usually call our cat “kitty”, or “you little $#!+” when she tries to bite me.
Dem iz beyootyfull kittehs! I lubs kittehs wif blu eyez...
Mine is so old she has no teeth, so that’s not a problem. ;)
After reading your post, I looked it up and discovered that “wapman” was for male “men” because it stood for “weapon man”. The word for female “men” was “wifman”, which stood for “weaving man”. This was a cool piece of news for my daughter, who is a weaver. I don’t think my son, the aspiring Jedi Knight, would mind being called a weapon man, either.
They are either wrapped way too tight or are educated way beyond their actual intelligence.
Wonder if they would be upset if I called my female dog a bitch? Used to have a cat named “roadkill”. Is that insensitive? hmmm.
Thanks, me too! The very first kitteh I had was a stray that had blue eyes. She was a mutt with some Siamese in her somewhere. Ever since then, I have had blue-eyed kittehs.
