Declarations that sinful desires are a gift from God: following the well-worn empty path of Luther and King Henry VIII who taught the world to make it up as you go along and pretend that its Christian.Never miss a chance to Protestant bash do you? That's all the Protestant haters do these days, I see.
So, what explains the homosexuality in the priesthood in the Catholic church and the fact that the Catholic church hasn't dealt with it?

Welllllllll
The Vatican Cult made it up in the beginning of their 300-400AD founding.
What cheek whining about folks they accuse of making it up as they go along.
LOL.

As I said, the Church is 100% sinful sinners in need of mercy and salvation.
The Church, through her gift of infallibility, rejects sin unequivocally. Always has.
In addition to our sins, the human members of the Church make prudential errors. This is a sad remnant of the fall.

Please post the verified statistics for your own sect’s perversions and also those of the Church.
Then we can discuss your question in a fair and unbiased manner.

The thing to remember is that the word "gay" is ambiguous: it doesn't differentiate between at least three different cases:
- a person who experiences homosexual temptations;
- a person who deliberately accommodates homosexual fantasies and/or identifies with "gay" as a personal identity tag; and
- a person who intentionally engages in homosexual behavior.
The first person is blameless if he resists those temptations; the second is culpable because of his failure to oppose perverse tendencies (an intentional thought is, as Jesus taught, an inward act); the third is culpable because of morally objectionable acts.
The Catholic Church teaches, and has always taught,that a person can be innocent, and yet suffer temptation (as Our Lord did) as long as, with the grace of God, he resists this evil. The Catholic Church also teaches that temptation must not be accommodated in any way: in your thoughts or in your words, in what you do or what you fail to do.
This is quite different from a church like the one this article describes, which teaches that homosexuality is "a gift, not a sin."

Took 61 posts before the first broadside at the Catholic church. Is that an RF record?
