TUSCALOOSA, Ala. -- The death toll from severe storms that roared across the South has risen to 173 across five states with Alabama and Mississippi each reporting increases in the number of deaths in their states.

Anytime Obama plans anything that sounds like it's the right thing to do you have to look at what else is going on that is generally his real reason...the right thing just gets tacked on as an after thought. He will never do anything unless it stands to gain him a favorable light..I'm sure he'll be at the Senators side...but Alabama visit is an after thought...but it'll look good in the media he showed up. Can you imagine, with the clean-up they have, the disruption his security will cause in added difficulty for these people?
