EBT is used for unemployment checks, same as cash. Food stamps are to buy food only. Toilet paper is not allowed, either.

Is there lots of abuse? Yeah. Is everyone corrupt? No, Not even "most". There are many people who won't eat if they weren't available.

Do you not realize that many of the elderly get SS checks of less than $500 per month, and a single electric/fuel bill in winter can wipe that out. Much of our enlisted military depend on food stamps to make things work. We must preserve our elder/truly needy assistance, and get rid of the graft... but not with Obama and company...
