Weve been told that former Ark. Gov. Mike Huckabee, a rumored candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, is giving his former S.C. supporters the nod to seek work on other presidential campaigns. The word is that hes told South Carolina staffers that they have his blessing for them to peddle their wares elsewhere. If this is as true as it appears, its the second major shakeup. Monday, Miss. Gov. Haley Barbour surprised everyone but himself when he announced that he would not seek the GOP nod.
Thank God!
We now need to find a serious challenger who can actually unseat Obama, cuz none of the current crop are even close.
Please, please let this be true. No huckster!
Huckabee was always rumored not to be running....so the name of those thinking or ready to run are already out, there probably will be few if any surprises in new names surfacing.
Every day I beg Rep. Allen West to run. I don’t think he is interested, though.
This makes more sense than The Huckster running. The thing to me was the fact that Santorum and Gingrich got the boot at FOX News because they were thinking of running and Huckster and Palin stayed. It just seemed odd and made me think that they are not going to run.
Finally, something to like about Huck. Maybe he can honeymoon with McCain in Benghazi.
Could this be another “scalp” for Beck?
Could he have sensed some of his support slipping away to Cain?
Could he have decided he needed to keep the first job he’s ever had that didn’t depend on the offering plate or the tax collector?
Could he be reading FR?
#1— Huckster has done the rounds and the money and support ain’t there for him to run
#2— Fox is paying this boob a million plus each year for his awful show. So Huckster is going to kick back and semi-retire
I really hope that Huckabee does not run and announces his resolve not to do so soon and unequivocally.
Please let this be true.
Could he have decided he needed to keep the first job hes ever had that didnt depend on the offering plate or the tax collector?>>>>>
Fox is paying him the big bucks!
Thank goodness!
Dennis, that was my point on Fox - the first job he’s had not dependent on the offering plate or the tax man.
Of course, he depends on the acumen of Roger Ailes, but at least it is a free enterprise job of some description, even if Huck remains clueless as to how his pay check is derived.
I mean you cannot release something you don’t have.
Good news for a change. Looks like The Huckster is out!
