Just like the states filed lawsuits against the US Tobacco Companies claiming harm due to the costs of medical treatments due to smoking, the same suits should be filed against the federal government by the states for the same.

The government in Obama's own words claims federal responsibility for illegal immigration.

Translation of all this: “They’re here illegally, so they should be citizens...so they can vote for me...er...if they haven’t already.”

Now there’s some pretzel logic for you.

Let me be clear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Arizona tried this, and a federal court already struck them down.”

No, the court struck down a small portion of the AZ law which was then changed to comply the court ruling.

What Georgia is doing should satisfy due process. The federal government should get an Attorney General and enforce its own laws.

Obama can’t do jack about this Georgia immigration law. He’s complaining just to keep the Hispanics voting for him in 2012

The president has been criticized for failing to comment on the package of immigration laws Utah legislators approved in March. Among other things, Utah’s laws, which would go into effect in 2013, make it possible for illegal aliens to hold a job.

“This is hypocritical,” U.S. Rep. Lamar Smith, R-Texas, said in a statement to the Associated Press. “If (the Justice Department) chooses not to take legal action against Utah’s unconstitutional law, it will be clear the Administration bases their decisions on their own political views rather than constitutional principle.”

Julio Penaranda, general manager of the Plaza Fiesta mall on Buford Highway in DeKalb County, said he has noticed an impact at his shopping center, which mostly includes Hispanic-owned stores. He and other businessmen say Hispanics fearful of the crackdown have stopped shopping. Some are fleeing the state, they said.

Does anyone else think these "Hispanic-owned stores" are owned by anchor babies all grownup? This, IMHO, is a good example of why Deal needs to sign the bill ASAP. Every day we have more illegal immigrants giving birth to children who will, one day, be putting their ethnicity and pocketbooks before what's good for our state.
