The TUSD Governing Board was forced to cancel its meeting Tuesday night after ethnic studies supporters stormed the meeting room and chained themselves to chairs.
The board was scheduled to consider a proposal that some Mexican American Studies courses would no longer be used to fulfill core-curriculum requirements.
The protest was organized by a youth coalition called UNIDOS. The group demanded the proposal, written by board President Mark Stegeman, be withdrawn.....

Such is the state of education here in the beautiful city of Tucson.
As a side note, one can catch a quick glimpse of a dark haired woman shouting at the security officer right about the 1:32 mark of the video. That woman is Isabel Garcia who, aside from being a leading member of Coalicion de Derechos Humanos, is also a Pima County public defender. Anybody want to take a guess at where these fine young youths are getting their instruction?

Once these morons have “chained themselves to chairs” LEOs should lock them in, form a perimeter and fill the place with teargas.... while loudly blasting the audio of old Lawrence Welk reruns.

I was a long time Tucson resident employed with the federal government (20+ years) and in my early days had frequent contact with Isabel Garcia when she was defending illegal alien detainees in federal custody. She was a POS then as she is now. She is a known communist anti-American radical.
