"In those years ... when they wrote race, they were writing 'Negro' not 'African'," Taitz says. "In those days nobody wrote African as a race, it just wasn't one of the options. It sounds like it would be written today, in the age of political correctness, and not in 1961 when they wrote white or Asian or 'Negro'."

ALL U.S. PRESIDENTS HAD EITHER NATIVE-BORN OR NATURALIZED PARENTS (ALL OF WHOM WERE THEIR MOTHERS) AT THE TIME OF BIRTH. THE ONLY EXCEPTION IS CHESTER A. ARTHUR, WHOSE IRISH FATHER WAS NATURALIZED WHEN ARTHUR WAS 14. THIS STATEMENT IS A LIE!
I thought the EXACT same thing when I read those words!
There must have been someone born in Hawaii in '61 with negro on the certificate.
Actually, Buchanan’s father was Irish, as were both of Andrew Jackson’s parents. Also, Hoover’s mother was Canadian, and Wilson’s mother was English.
Would they put “Ireland” as race?
I don’t think so.
What African is not a race?
What’s next Muslim is not a race either?
/sarc
But in 1960, everyone from the President on down said Negro.
Be very, very unusual if that term wasn't used.

And the constitution itself contains a direct recognition of the subsisting common law principle, in the section which defines the qualification of the President. “No person except a natural born citizen, or a citizen of the United States at the time of the adoption of this constitution, shall be eligible to the office of President,” &c. The only standard which then existed, of a natural born citizen, was the rule of the common law, and no different standard has been adopted since. Suppose a person should be elected President who was native born, but of alien parents, could there be any reasonable doubt that he was eligible under the constitution? I think not.

6. Upon principle, therefore, I can entertain no doubt, but that by the law of the United States, every person born within the dominions and allegiance of the United States, whatever were the situation of his parents, is a natural born citizen.

This will just fuel the fire...
father’s race .. AFRICAN???
dr.s name ... U.K. leLee (ukulele)???
Jefferson’s parents were both English, but I don’t really think that counts, considering... well, so was Jefferson up until the revolution.
Isn’t Trump’s mother Scottish? Is he qualified?
As always, Orly is right on target.
If you look on the Hawaii BC form, there is no Option to check the box for African.

As much as both sides want this to be over... something stinks here.
There was no “political correctness” in 1961 and african would equate to “negro” back then.
Also, what’s with the faint writing in fields # 3, 7g, 9, 12b & 14?
Still seems to be a fake.
Remember folks, the left knows no bounds to claw their way to power and remain there.
I dont know. I think its kinda getting stupid. Its been comical but African and Negro? not sure.
Both Trump’s parents were citizens before Trump was born.
so the certificate say that his mother was “Caucasian”, should be “white”
The new information in this article indicates that Obama changed his birth certificate information after 2003 because new Hawaii Department of Health terminology was used on the Certification of Live Birth that was posted on Obamas website and FactCheck.org. Most likely he filed a Late Certificate of Birth after 2003, which contained the new race
identifier African for his father.
