The Chattanooga/Cleveland area of Tennessee got hit pretty hard this morning around 9:30 or 10 AM. Nasty winds, took down a couple of big trees in the neighborhood, dropped a big branch from one of my pines, took down a 7 foot Maple (snapped it off at the base), and tore off the aluminum facia from the gable at one end of my house. One piece was hanging, one was in the back yard, and I have no idea where the wind took the rest. More nasty weather on the way.

The Chattanooga Electric Power Board had over 70,000 customers without power today, and with this evening’s storms and potential tornadoes, I’m sure that they’ll have more.
