Back in the days when it didn’t really matter (reffering to old fashioned Democrats like the Scoop Jackson type) was when the two parties could disagree on policy, but they weren’t out to destroy the country.
I can respect an honest patriotic American who I disagree with and probably not vote for. There are only a couple of them left. Lieberman is one.
