So the word “African” vs. “Negro” the word used back in 1961 does not strike you as odd? That does not send a RED FLAG to you?
Furthermore calling his mom “Caucasian” vs. “White” another common word use in 1961.
The terms African/Caucasian did not come into regular speak until the 1990s when everyone is trying to be “Politically Correct”.
Like I said that should be a dead give away.
My BC from Ohio and my DH’s from MI both say white.
The question is, does anyone in HI have a BC that says “Caucasian”?
I heard somewhere that race was provided by the family. We would need to see another black person’s BC from Hawaii around the same time. I am just afraid that if some continue to dispute that this is real, fewer will take it seriously. If Trump did find something, as he intimated, let him show it now. I think he was bluffing but it sure seems like it worked. If someone else comes up with proof that this is a forgery and it can be proved - great, but I doubt it. Seems real to me and I am ready to see Trump make him release his college and other records.
Sorry, the other BCs on this thread do not say “White”.
My mistake.
It says Caucasian on the Nordyke certificate.
I recall hearing Caucasian used on the old Adam 12 tv show back in the 1970s. I remember it sounding odd to my teen ears at the time and it took a while for me to understand it meant white person. The show ran from 1968 through 1975, and helped introduce police procedures and jargon to the general public according to wiki.

I just looked at my birth certificate from 1956 (Wisconsin). My parents are Caucasians. Also, note Africa is a CONTINENT, not a Race nor a Country. On my birth certificate my father is Caucasian and not North American.
I have an Original Copy (you can visually see it is a typed carbon copy) that has NO seal on it and I've never needed to produce a copy with a raised seal for any legal purpose. However, when I went for my marriage license I forgot my birth certificate and had to get a Certified Copy of it at the court house. This one is printed on Blue Safety Paper rather than the plain white of the original and the Copy has the raised seal and the notations and stamp of the Registrar on it. Otherwise it is clearly a Xeroxed copy of my original. SO...IF this is supposed to be a Certified Copy of Barry's original long form there should be a raised seal and that raised seal should make SOME kind of impression that can be seen on the copy...but I don't see it.
My Long form and my short form both label my parents as Caucasian.
