I wonder if the people who have been obsessive over this realize how much credibility this gains the President in the eyes of the youth and independents.

The "yoots and independents" are the reason we are in the mess we are in - no wisdom - zip zero nada. Just vote their "feelings" (slavery guilt) because there brains are not engaged.

The fact is that their votes count, also. I've heard more than one person opine to the effect of ‘OK, let's see the damn BC but if he has it I'm not paying any more attention to you (you = tea partiers and fellow travelers). Just like I didn't really care about Monica; what bothered me was NAFTA and the attack on the 2nd amendment and other policy failures of the Clinton administration. Let's worry about what the President *does*, not what he appears to be.
